Braselton Urgent Care provides COVID-19 testing for individuals, and drive-through testing for employers and groups.

Types of COVID-19 Tests Available

  • Oropharyngeal/nasopharyngeal (nose and throat) swabs which currently take 4-5 days to come back.
  • Rapid antibody test, (finger stick test requiring a few drops of blood) which takes only 15 minutes to get results.
  • More comprehensive testing is available for symptomatic patients. These tests help diagnose illness when the patient tests negative for COVID-19.

Many insurance companies are paying 100% for COVID-19 testing. They are waiving copays. Currently, known participants include Cigna, Aetna, BCBS, Humana, and United Health Care. Others are likely to participate and you can call or visit your insurance carrier’s website for clarification.

The fees for MOST uninsured visits are:

  • $155.00 for your first visit
  • $130 for established patient visits
  • +$110 for COVID-19 tests (includes swab and Rapid Antibody tests)

As an urgent care center, we are happy to be able to serve our community by providing COVID-19 testing. With recent surges in the number of cases, and the high volume of people who need testing, we have experienced delays in receiving results and our average wait time has increased. To help expedite the testing process, please scroll down for instructions. If you are awaiting results, please read our special notice. Thank you!

COVID-19 Tests for Individuals

  • Walk-ins only.
  • Wear a mask when you visit our clinic for any reason, to protect yourself and others.
  • New patients will be required to complete an intake form prior to being tested.
  • To save time and avoid a long wait, please get the form by clicking the red button below. You can fill it out online and email it along with your ID and insurance card. The email address is on the form. (Preferred Method – SAVES TIME!)
  • You may also stop by and pick up the form to complete in your vehicle.
  • Once we have your form, we will contact you approximately 45 minutes before it’s your turn to come in to be seen.
  • Once in the office, you will be taken back to a room, triaged, and tested. We will discuss treatment if you are symptomatic or have any other health concerns.
  • Please do not call for results. Our team is working diligently to call patients as results come in.

Important NOTICE:

If you have not heard back regarding your COVID test results and it has been greater than 5 days, please send an email to TestResults@BraseltonUrgentCare.com.

Tests from June 23rd, 24th and 27th – Delayed at LabCorp

If you were tested on June 23rd, June 24th, or June 27th, your tests were sent to LabCorp. They have experienced a nationwide delay in processing as they are the primary testing facility for many hospitals and primary care groups. This delay has resulted in more than 7 days for tests to come back.
If you are still waiting on COVID test results and were tested in our facility on any of these days, please know that we sincerely apologize for the delay and are working daily to get your results back to you as quickly as possible.
In order to get them back as soon as they come in, you should get onto Labcorp’s website https://patient.labcorp.com/, and create your own patient lab results portal. This will allow you to retrieve your results yourself.
